Ghana's textile factories, led by Akosombo Textiles, are working with local garment manufacturers to produce 30 million face masks by December 2020

Fabric Masks are now recommended by the USA Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for non-medical users. Since March 2020, we have switched our manufacturing capacity to produce masks to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our masks are also recommended by Ghana Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ghana Standards Authority, and Ghana Foods and Drugs Authority. These masks will be donated to local hospitals, church groups for deprived and vulnerable communities in Ghana and across West Africa
